After many years of quietly coveting oil paints, I finally decided to Do Something About It, and went out and bought seven tubes, a couple brushes, a couple thinners, and a few canvas boards. So far I have been painting small things I find in my room on small canvases -- 6" x 6". Right now I'm working on a small portrait, but it's not going as well as I'd like.
Painting fur is a challenge in any medium for me.

Of course, I didn't watch a video explaining the qualities of the different pigments until after I did this, but I thought it came out all right anyway.

Good luck w/ your efforts, they look great so far. I have attempted 1 or 2 oil paintings many years ago, I found it to be a great struggle w/ the paint, so different from acrylic.
