@ Tracey -- Thank you! The somewhat ironic thing is that I was actually sitting in a beautiful narrow valley between two hills, so there were a lot of interesting perspectives I could have painted, but I just happened to sit down and look up.

@ Rainey -- I did this in a similar style to a few of my other pieces, where I sketched out the finer branches and twigs in black Micron pen first, then added watercolor on top. I had to be kind of creative that day because I had forgotten my usual brushes, so all I had with me was the tiny folding brush that came in my watercolor set and an old square brush at the bottom of my bag.
