We have always believed that Society6 would represent a place where no artist who is doing good work would remain undiscovered and without opportunities to realize their full creative potential.
17 months later...we hope you will enjoy viewing some of the results of our collaborations with the Society6 members and brands who have helped us make this belief a reality:
Stay tuned for more Collaborations to come...
A big huge thank you to everyone for being a part of Society6!
Thanks to all 440 Society6 members who applied for this collaboration.
Please join our friends at Color Magazine and Vans in congratulating the six contributors to the first Artist shoe project:
Roger Allen aka "Crooked Walker"
Lidia Garcia de Lamo

We couldn't be more excited to bring you the result of our collaboration with max-o-matic, now available for purchase exclusively through Society6 as an Edition of 100.
Buy it here:
We first met Barcelona based Máximo Tuja (aka max-o-matic) back in June of 2009 when he agreed to collaborate (read experiment) with us to create and offer the first Limited Edition screenprint ever through Society6 http://www.society6.com/collab/Ltd_Ed...h_Society6
Buenos Aires, Argentina born max-o-matic's main inspiration for this piece was the title "Police and Thieves" from one of his favorite songs by The Clash and the news he read in the paper about corrupt police forces in Argentina.
A huge thank you to the very kind and wildly talented max-o-matic.
We're really excited to present the Locals Only Collection. There was so much great work and we appreciate everyone's effort. Check it out and take a virtual art walk around the world. Enjoy!
Where you at? If you haven't already done so, please post up your piece for the "Locals Only" Collab to your own Studio.
We've already started curating so get your piece posted by August 27th if you want it to be considered for the final collection.
Remember: Please use "Locals Only - Your City Name Here" as the title of your post.
We look forward to seeing all the great work. Thanks for participating.

Thanks so much for your contribution to Locals Only http://www.society6.com/collab/Locals...y_Your_Art
. We're hoping that your interpretation of Locals Only is not merely a look at different city names, but how space is created, viewed and managed by you as well as the influence you have on the space within the city you occupy.
Some directions to help you navigate this collaboration:
1. Please apply for Locals Only, only if you at least intend to contribute.
2. Create your piece and post it to your Studio at anytime, but by no later than August 27th to be considered for the final collection.
3. Please use "Locals Only - Your City Name Here" as the title of your post.
Along with some special guests, we'll be curating the final collection as we go.
