We couldn't be more excited to bring you the result of our collaboration with max-o-matic, now available for purchase exclusively through Society6 as an Edition of 100.
Buy it here:
We first met Barcelona based Máximo Tuja (aka max-o-matic) back in June of 2009 when he agreed to collaborate (read experiment) with us to create and offer the first Limited Edition screenprint ever through Society6 http://www.society6.com/collab/Ltd_Ed...h_Society6
Buenos Aires, Argentina born max-o-matic's main inspiration for this piece was the title "Police and Thieves" from one of his favorite songs by The Clash and the news he read in the paper about corrupt police forces in Argentina.
A huge thank you to the very kind and wildly talented max-o-matic.
We're really excited to present the Locals Only Collection. There was so much great work and we appreciate everyone's effort. Check it out and take a virtual art walk around the world. Enjoy!
Where you at? If you haven't already done so, please post up your piece for the "Locals Only" Collab to your own Studio.
We've already started curating so get your piece posted by August 27th if you want it to be considered for the final collection.
Remember: Please use "Locals Only - Your City Name Here" as the title of your post.
We look forward to seeing all the great work. Thanks for participating.

Thanks so much for your contribution to Locals Only http://www.society6.com/collab/Locals...y_Your_Art
. We're hoping that your interpretation of Locals Only is not merely a look at different city names, but how space is created, viewed and managed by you as well as the influence you have on the space within the city you occupy.
Some directions to help you navigate this collaboration:
1. Please apply for Locals Only, only if you at least intend to contribute.
2. Create your piece and post it to your Studio at anytime, but by no later than August 27th to be considered for the final collection.
3. Please use "Locals Only - Your City Name Here" as the title of your post.
Along with some special guests, we'll be curating the final collection as we go.
As reference, here is what some Society6 members did surrounding the Portland Prints Show earlier this year: http://www.society6.com/studio/portland/store
Please join us in showing your support for Contributor - an initiative that aims to give skateboards to disadvantaged youth.
As just one of the components of our collaboration with Contributor http://www.society6.com/collab/One_Way_Or_Another
, Club Mumble and a stacked group of artists and Society6 members from around the world, we proudly bring you the One Way Or Another collection.
Please visit the collection now and further the cause with each purchase of signature products from many of the participating artists:
Building on the success of last year's Contributor group show “Smile On Your Brother”, One Way Or Another plays upon the personal nature of a skateboard with all of the Contributor artists making time to create original artwork on blank skateboard decks, which can be purchased here http://www.wearecontributors.bigcartel.com/
with all proceeds going to support impoverished kids across Canada.

We've gone and done it again. We added another high-quality art product here on Society6. Every time you make a Post available for sale as a Print, it is also now available as Stretched Canvas Prints. This automatically includes all of your currently available Prints.
These archival quality canvas prints are individually trimmed, hand stretched with a museum wrap, and come ready to hang on the wall.
You can also check out the "Our Products" page for more info on these and our other great products. http://www.society6.com/help/products
As always, when people buy your products on Society6, they are produced, packed and shipped for you.
We've happily partnered with our friends over at Cool Hunting http://coolhunting.com
to provide one more opportunity for S6 members to get their work out to the world.
Cool Hunting will be hand selecting their favorite products from Society6 members in this ongoing collaboration. So, in addition to having your work be eligible for sale through Threadless.com (the Artist Shoppe) and UrbanOutfitters.com (the Print Shop), you now have the opportunity to have your work featured on both the home page of Coolhunting.com and through the Cool Hunting Showcase!
Check it out to see if you've already been selected http://showcase.coolhunting.com/colle...n/showcase
Big thanks to Cool Hunting for showing their support for the world's artists!
