I am back.. with an unofficial translation

by Argyris Hionis (1943-2011)

People most often do not know what to do with their hands.
They give them - supposedly saluting - to others
They let them hanging like appendages, nerveless outgrowths
Or - even worse - they put them in their pockets
and forget them.

Meanwhile so many bodies are left without caress
So many poems unwritten.

I hope you like it!
