I haven't been able to create anything recently, we're moving house so for the past month my mind has been focused on that, trawling through all my stuff figuring out what to throw away and what to keep. It's been hectic, we move on Sunday so hopefully once we're settled I'll be able to start knocking out new pieces. I'm stoked about this preparation, it feels like when I used to play in a band, that moment before you hit the stage, waiting for something to happen, knowin it's imminent. I'm getting some canvases for my birthday so I can paint again!!!! It's been months now and my brushes are on the verge of filing a charge of neglect against me so they'll be relieved to know they'll soon be fully occupied and covered in paint.
As for now, it's my 21st on Sunday so some friends and I are going to celebrate at the local. It will most certainly be a night of merriment and hearty laughter.
