by Tracey Tilson Photography

Stretched Canvas

DESCRIPTION

Fine art print on bright white, fine poly-cotton blend, matte canvas using latest generation Epson archival inks. Individually trimmed and hand stretched museum wrap over 1-1/2" deep wood stretcher bars. Includes wall hanging hardware.

YIKES !!! This is the reason I waive a stick in front of me when I hike! How many of you have hiked in the woods and walked straight into an unseen web? Grrrr! I can't stand it! I hate spiders.... they are fascinating to photograph, but that's it! This one was a pretty with prickly legs.

Thanks everyone.... not much of a photo to hang on a wall (ewwww) but I still thought she was rather pretty... for a spider.

ick! spiders! but beautifully captured tracey
Tracey Tilson Photography commented on January 19, 2012 2:26pm
Hey Jamesy... I know EXACTLY how you feel! I don't like them either! Especially in my face when I'm out hiking in the woods! Or worse, in my house! I can handle any other kind of bug or snake or rat or mice... but spiders are just nasty. BUT... occasionally I enjoy photographing them as long as they don't move.
Check out this link to a photo I have of a wolf spider. It's a macro... and read the story underneath it. It will crack you up! I promise! http://www.flickr.com/photos/traceyti...575287293/

haha that story tracey! i wouldve done the same though!

a couple of years back i opened up the pantry door to get something to eat, not noticing anything but i felt a tickle on my neck (thinking it was my hair) so i go to grab my hair, i realize its a spider, i scream so loud threw the spider (which was a huge black one the size of a teaspoon) onto the floor and ran out of the kitchen like a little girl! i didnt go back in until i knew mom had gotten rid of it lol!

It seems like none of my promotions from yesterday "stuck". I just found yours, Tracey, and it didn't show my promotion either :-( Well, I hope it works this time! I love your little spider, by the way!

Thank you Judith! You're a sweetheart. I think S6 has been having glitches lately. I'm glad you like Miss Prickly legs... you might be alone though, LOL!
