Thanks again, Angelo! The original painting's dimensions are 36 x 72 inches. I invested around six months of time layering pattern on top of pattern with sign painters enamel to create all of that intricate detail.

Hey RD, Thanks much for your kindness! Even though my recorded lineage is a combination of Irish, Scottish, Norwegian and German, I've always felt a strong pull towards many things Japanese. While I'm predictably a product of my American environment, I'm sure my mindset/visual aesthetic mirrors both my roots and my yearnings.

Thanks again, MATADATA! This is another piece from the suite of large scale high-detail paintings (like "Eeny Meany") that I'm glad I did at the time, but just don't have the fortitude to attempt anything like this again! ;-)

Thanks MoArt! The last couple of days I've been going through the close to 600 pages of previously promoted work and noticed some interesting trends... often artists when they first join will post their best work, before they establish a network, not realizing that it may later get missed because we all tend to live in the present... also, we are ALL getting better at making art, because I believe we are all raising the bar for each other. I just find it fascinating and rewarding to see development and growth in my peers, and it helps me better appreciate the strides we are all making as a group and as individuals.
