I love this one, the blue at the bottom is really nice and the rest somehow feels like intestines wiggling through a wall with graffiti on it...

Awesome!

All of your work is so trippy! :D
Carina Povarchik commented on February 27, 2012 3:03am
great work, I too love that blueish touch :) :) :)
Angelo Cerantola commented on February 27, 2012 3:32am
love the shard of serene blue breaking up the monochrome severity!

Love and sincerely appreciate your lovely comments, Heather, Deepti, Jake, Carina and Angelo! Not to give away too much, but portions of the collage are a several generations out high contrast image of water in a pool that I photographed decades ago. The little touch of aqua at the bottom is my abstract nod to Hockney.

MoArt Rotterdam commented on February 28, 2012 4:10pm
Very cool but way different or am I mistaken here, dear Wayne?
Wayne Edson Bryan commented on February 28, 2012 4:32pm
Thanks much, Tareco & MoArt! And, to my friend in Rotterdam, I'm trying to veer away from my tendency to fill every area with detail, give the eyes places to rest, and allow open space to play a greater role. It's very observant of you to catch my shift, MoArt!
MoArt Rotterdam commented on February 29, 2012 4:12am
To me your art always is well balanced, but I have to admit, this one is more restfull for the eyes indeed!!!
Wayne Edson Bryan commented on February 29, 2012 12:23pm
Of course, in order to subliminally reference the steam-punky Victorian horror vacui aesthetic, a certain amount detaliciousness is required. ;-) And, while I have been using halftones, which firmly root the imagery in the 20th Century, I always wanted the pieces to be antithetical to the online culture we are emerged in at this very moment! But, rest assured, continuing relief for eyes will transpire in future pieces.

THANKS, Annika and Sandra! Here's to hoping that some rising musical genius discovers my work and buys the rights to use it on his/her all-time top selling album cover! :-D

Bless you, Cat, for all of your awesome support of my older work!!! I truly appreciate it so very much!!! I think that some of the best stuff is in the back of my profile, and I'm so glad that a few kind folks occasionally take the time to notice it!!! ;-)
