I think there is a very serious bug in your carpet.
Wayne Edson Bryan commented on February 15, 2012 3:54pm
Much obliged, Matthew & Carina... I discovered that my previously posted, hyper-dense and detailed full-size versions were just too OCD for your average person. When I created cropped close-ups of those works for the devices, it occurred to me that my work should evolve past my "Pattern & Decoration Movement" roots to a more graphic & dramatic customer/Society6 friendly present. A huge canvas is not the same as a thumbnail. The delivery system does in fact affect the output!

haha. so this is a crop of a section of a larger piece? i like it.
Wayne Edson Bryan commented on March 6, 2012 7:08am
Thanks, Itskaren! Yeah... pieces within pieces... and my explorations of my own work and artists/photographers like you that crop so effectively, have definitely given me some inspiration as to how to proceed with my future creations!
karrenn commented on March 7, 2012 7:48pm
cool. the definition of abstract can be applied to so many things. explorations, even. thanks for seeing the abstract in my photos, not everyone has that ability. proceed !

In order to grow as an artist, one has to be open-minded, have a desire to participate in the larger conversation, and be supportive of our peers... there is so much opportunity to learn in an environment like this, and to advocate for excellence!

291 THANK YOUs to you, Cat! You and Bruce are the all time promoting champs, and like me, recognize that there is value in checking out everybody's profile front to back to truly know what their art is about! We know that often the best work is in the back. Keep the curiosity flame burning and THANKS again!!! :-)
