About The Artist

Amsterdam based artist Betty Klaasse creates surreal collages on paper. Using just glue and scissors, she likes to give people and animals from vintage magazine advertisements a second chance in life. In her collages, she tries to capture a still from their stories. Sometimes nonsensical, sometimes meaningful, just as life itself.
