All for the love of colour - Playing with colour theory! I've studied old colour theories and systems and selected some colour wheels and charts etc. to be remade. For this I use reference images found in vintage colour theory books etc. The illustrations on my Society6 store aren't some low-resolution copies of them: I make my own high-resolution and high-quality versions from scratch using the vintage reference images only as - well - reference! I also study the original colour theory of each illustration, and based on this information I often make a second version, an interpretation of the same image using the shades that were most likely used in the original print before fading and altering of the colours. I also have played around with the elements creating inverted or re-arranged images. The copyrights of these new remakes and interpretations belong to me.
