About The Artist

The woman behind Ink Hive Creative is Charlotte Heseltine, an English illustration artist based in Catalonia. She uses a variety of mediums including watercolour and pen, combined with digital editing, to make her vibrant and patterned work pop. As an avid traveller her inspirations come from nature and tribal cultures from far flung corners of the earth. Her watercolour pieces are often embellished with detailed patterns that some might say have Indian or African influences. These stem from growing up between a luscious, green countryside village and the colourful, multicultural city of Bristol; as well as travelling to Asia and South America.
