About The Artist

I work in layers combining elements of hard edge and geometric abstract with surrealism, blurring shapes and words of my dreams and reality visually combining the sleep-state with the waking world. Roadways, paths, maps, aerial views, estuaries, marine inlets and channels inspire many of the forms in my work serving to move the eye across the surface of the painting. The work is process oriented and lifestyle inspired pulling influences from my time spent living, motorcycling and surfing in Southern California. Several of my paintings have been included in World Wide Art Book's "Current Masters" Vol. 1.
