About The Artist

Jamal Gregorie Sultan is a mostly self-taught artist of South Asian and Californian descent. He was born in Ohio during the 1974 Super Outbreak, and spent much of his life in both coastal Virginia and the Appalachian mountains. Greg has also lived in, and traveled to many places across North America and Europe, and his art can be found all over the world. He currently calls the Island of Puerto Rico his home. The experience of violent weather events, combined with the island's unique culture and history, jungles, mountains, deserts, and coastline provide a captivating and fertile environment for Greg to fuse his unique experiences with his surroundings, and produce an art that his truely his own.
