Nina May was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.
Her early educations at Woodbury University
and Otis School of Art & Design.
Her inspired work offers a mix of recurring themes based on music, nature; geometry, harmony and balance; or they reflect iconic
scenes of California Bohemian style. Her work has been featured in Fred Segal, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's and Macy's.
Nina even has unique experience in designing for the world
of entertainment through the Fashion Doll Toy business with clients including; Hasbro, Disney, Mattel and Spin Master Toys.
With a trend driven flair, Nina May and Nina May Designs bring eclectic, vibrant patterns like Japanese Shibori Tie-Dyes, Tropical Digital Florals and Ethnic patterns inspired by many cultures.
