I have been adapting to the job market demands since I first graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art. While I have my BFA in photography, I have also been working professionally in graphic design for as many years. Artistic process is just as important to a fine artist as it is to any commercial professional, it facilitates progress and innovation. If you work hard, keep adapting to the changing currents of project demands, you will produce art, images, and designs you can be proud to say are your best work. I call my newest work Photographic Canvas Collages. I print them on photographic canvas, cut them apart, and then sew them back together. This process allows me to take several parts of my photographs to create one image that expresses a visual emotional moment. I want to stay in these beautiful and fleeting moments. I don't want to see them change, end, or have to leave them.
