Cat Gilbert is an illustrator and painter living in Brooklyn, NY. She also works in video art at Gratuitous Art Films and runs The 22 Magazine.

Her series Flowers and Monsters is an exploration into the uncharted territory of flower/monster mutation as well as a study on the damage seemingly harmless elements can cause. This series will includes paintings as well as an illustrated horticultural guide to accompany them.
