Sarah Crumb Art
Sarah Crumb is a born and raised Seattle area resident. Her background lies in both the arts and natural sciences. She holds a B.A. in Art History from the University of Washington, and an M.A. in Zoology from Miami University, in partnership with Woodland Park Zoo. Sarah’s undergraduate degree focused mainly on Northwest Coast Native art. She studied with Robin Wright, Steve Brown, and Marvin Oliver, all Seattle area experts on the subject matter at the time. Her graduate Master Plan was focused on connecting children to nature through arts-based activities. She has been employed by the Burke Museum and the Seattle Art Museum. Her most recent teaching experiences are as a teaching artist at Cloud 9 Art School in Bothell, as a long-time art docent in the Northshore School District, and as an informal educator at Woodland Park Zoo.
