Dead Pocket

When I was eight years old, I thought I could move things with my mind. As it turns out, I was moving my head instead.

Drawing and doodling isn’t so much a passion. No more than breathing is a passion. We need to breathe. Some days are great breathing days. Other days you hardly think about it at all. But, you always do it. I think of drawing and doodling as a compulsion. It’s an irresistible and urgent act that’s constant. It’s a language, a process, and a therapy. And it keeps me from being afraid of numbers.

I’m a creative gun-for-hire, freelance designer, illustrator, and creative director as well as the curator and Creative Czar of Dead Pocket Station in whatever form that takes. I'm also known by the name Will Wood.
