Deanna V. Amirante is a graphic artist/designer, illustrator, and surface artist based in the Chicago Illinois suburb of Barrington. She has a degree in Graphic Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology and a BS in Business Management. She has a passion for color and pattern design, and a weakness for everything and anything pretty.

Deanna has been creating art her whole life. Her inspirations come from patterns she sees in nature, dreams, songs and spending time with her children. Her style has often been described as whimsical, colorful, and modern which she applies to her Designs by dVa brand.
