Dondi Fontenot is a native of Louisiana and grew up in the bayous surrounding Lake Charles. Dondi studied at the Art Institutes of Atlanta and Houston. He has lived/worked in Georgia, North Carolina, Texas and Colorado.

Dondi incorporates his graphic design background with his artistic ability. Many of his photographs are influenced by his travels in Georgia, Louisiana and the Western United States. Bicycles, kayaks, wildlife and mountains are frequent subjects of his boldly colored prints.
