Gabriele Niegelhell

Welcome :) I also sell ORIGINAL paintings at https://www.etsy.com/shop/GabiniArt. In some cases the originals may even be acquired at a lower cost than a print on this site. I was born in Austria (Europe) and spent the first 27 years of my life there. Adventure brought me to the USA. Here in New Mexico, the land of the light, I met my husband and had my two children. From very early on, I had a love for painting, drawing, photography, and pottery and I have been creating art in one form or another all my life. Painting was my first love and seems to be my destiny. I am mostly self-taught, but also attended art classes in Austria and in the US. As my eyes look into this world and see all the beautiful things out there, my head just can’t stop creating multitudes of images that my heart and my hands want to put down on canvas or paper. With this wealth of ideas, the body of my work ends up being rather versatile, as opposed to having only one subject matter, style, or approach. I mostly paint in oil and acrylics. I am particularly fascinated by how minuscule changes in light and dark affect a painting and explore these in my work. I am also interested in the limitless possibilities of color itself as a subject matter and started exploring abstract paintings. And - I do love trees :) If you are not sure, if you should buy, consider this: Art is a very personal, subjective thing in that it touches your emotions in one way or another. If it is amazing to you, albeit nothing much to someone else, if it speaks to you, if YOU love it, get it. IN CASE YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ACQUIRING ORIGINAL PAINTINGS, PLEASE GO TO MY Etsy Store at: www.etsy.com/shop/GabiniArt. Gabriele Niegelhell joined Society6 on October 22, 2016
