Gerald Kelley received his BFA in studio drawing and has worked as an editorial illustrator before focusing on children's publishing. He illustrated documentarian Ken Burns' New York Times best-selling children's book, Grover Cleveland, Again! He also illustrated The Legend of the Jersey Devil, by Trinka Hakes Noble, My Name is Bob by James Bowen & Garry Jenkins (a picture book prequel to the New York Times bestseller A Street Cat Named Bob), and M is for Monster: A Fantastic Creatures Alphabet by former U.S. Children's Poet Laureate, J.
