Inclined to Improvise

Hi I’m Michelle Sweatt, of “Inclined to Improvise”. My passion is reclaiming, repurposing, and reimagining uses for the discarded and unwanted. My art is an expression of this passion. I am inspired by the challenge of restoring and/or reanimating objects that, at one time in their existence, were considered prized belongings to someone, but now find themselves either sitting on a dusty shelf in a thrift store or permanent fixtures in the landfill. I enjoy working with a variety of materials and finishes. I love the challenge of working with new mediums. Everything has potential to be repurposed… For me, discards and castoffs forge infinite possibilities for restoration. Inclined to Improvise joined Society6 on March 31, 2014
