Jessica Violetta is a decorative and fine artist focusing on work that empowers femininity. Her paintings are done primarily in oil and/or acrylic and decorative work in gouache on watercolor paper.
Jessica was born in the San Francisco Bay Area but spent her childhood in New Jersey where her family is originally from. In high school, she split the day between regional school and a gifted and talented arts program. She has since relocated back to San Francisco to complete her degree in illustration from California College of the Arts.
As an expressive female, her primary objective is to encourage femininity to be seen in a powerful, positive light. “Regardless of race or gender expression, no individual should feel injustice for identifying with or displaying femininity. We can do this shamelessly and still be respected for our thoughts, ideas, emotions, and experiences."
When she is not making art, Jessica writes for galleries and publications such as Modern Eden Gallery and Beautiful Bizarre Magazine.
