KATHERINE CENTER is the author of five bittersweet comic novels about love and family—including Happiness for Beginners, and The Bright Side of Disaster—with two more (at least!) on the way. Her fourth novel, The Lost Husband, was recently optioned for a movie. Her writing has appeared in Redbook, People, USA Today, Vanity Fair, The Atlantic, InStyle, and Real Simple. Katherine holds degrees from Vassar College and the University of Houston’s Creative Writing Program. She loves fonts and design and hand-lettering and crafty things.
