I ‘ve been drawing since the day I could hold a pencil and started teaching myself to draw digitally in 2013. That same year I decided to become a digital artist and do this forever. I grew up in Santiago de Chile and upon finishing a Philosophy master’s degree, I moved for 5 years to Chicago; where I studied Digital Cinema, while working as an art teacher. After graduating, I worked for a coupple of years mostly as a screenwriter, until moving closer to my family in Chile. I currently work as a freelance illustrator and Visual communication professor in Santiago de Chile. Through my drawings, I try to construct scenes that reflect ideas and feelings on the technological world we live in. I explore topics like western civilization, the inclusion of women, digital age and love. My technique is a mix between hand drawing/coloring with watercolor pencils, photo collage, and digital illustration. I mix all these elements in Photoshop, but now and then I use Illustrator and Corel. Sometimes I even start a drawing digitally, color some areas on Photoshop, print it and finish coloring it with watercolors. Javiera Reszczynski | lamirona.cl joined Society6 on February 7, 2014
