Liza Quinones is a South Bronx based textile designer, artist, and highly skilled screen printer. A native of New York, she was drawn to California to pursue an education in Textile and Fashion design at the Academy of Art. Having studied a range of things from Photography to Knitwear to Book arts, she is continuously influenced by past and present experiences to design from the inside out, letting her work flow, repeat and evolve naturally. A thinker and seeker with an eye for seeing beauty where it is overlooked, Quinones merges drawing, painting, screen-printing, and digital tools to create striking visuals and original textile pieces. She experiments with new mediums, dissecting and piecing together in layers of color and form, using her foresight and imagination to guide her.
