Masha C.

Masha Cisse was born in Ukraine and currently lives, dreams, creates and works together with her little daughter in Ulm, Germany. The everyday life shapes her works and reflects her inner learning process. It inspires both, how she approaches a new painting as well as the choice of color and is responsible for the choice of the medium as well as the intuitive, organic forms and compositions. "Making art to me is like cooking a 3-course meal for my soul. It helps me to process life. And I enjoy the learning process! I learn to see, understand and accept the development of and how to deal with personalities, situations, attitudes and perspectives with all its colorful facets. Therefore, my works are intuitive and organic, conveying the dynamic process of self-development and environmental change." Cisse's art is full of emotions. Whether it's sadness, nostalgia, anger or hope, every emotion finds its way to manifest itself in her work ready to raise the dispute by it's color choice. The palette is usually limited to a few colors to honor the dominant emotion. She mainly works on paper, however, is increasingly expanding her work to include canvas. Each work is a snapshot of her personality in a moment of change. Hence, her series should be seen not as complete, but as a continuous story. Masha C. joined Society6 on April 28, 2016
