Amy Morrissey is a recording engineer, painter and animal lover living in Philadelphia, PA. She studied sculpture and painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.

After graduating, Amy took a day job in the music industry, first in radio and then as a recording engineer and co-owner of Miner Street Recordings (with partner Brian McTear). She is a member of Bitter, bitter weeks and records her own songs under the band name The Novenas.

She currently lives with four cats (Olive, Evilo, Greta and Mooney) and misses her former cats (Sheila, Orange-O, Quimby and Rainy). They are a constant source of inspiration.
