Hi there! My name is Moira Ratchford, and I paint because we all need to be reminded of the small miracles in life. Everyone goes through a tough stretch from time to time, and I hope my art helps lighten the load, by adding some beauty and joy and laughter to your world.

I’ve worked in every medium imaginable, but currently am in love with the spontaneity of watercolor. The way the color splashes around and saturates the paper, creating unpredictable vibrant blends and soft textures, makes every piece unique.

I also have decades of experience in graphic design, which is super handy for transforming my art into the kind of home decor and gift ware that you want to take home with you.
