"Meursault brings a refreshing, contemporary jolt to South Kensington's notoriously traditional dining scene.
Conceived by a team with an impressive fine dining pedigree, Director Ibi Issolah, Dorian Pryce, and Chef Jerome Tauvron have collaborated to produce a worthy new sister restaurant to the critically acclaimed l'Etranger. Meursault offers diverse fare that marries the French cuising with conceptual Japanese fare. Executed by head chef Sang Keun Oh, the menu includes inventive dishes such as scallops and Parmesan curd with truffle foam and foie gras toban yaki, and is accompanied by a 40-strong dessert selection. The bar is just as ambitious, offering molecular cocktails and a 1600-bin wine list.
Designed by Andy Martin, the intimate spaces is dominated by a dramatic ceiling installation that cocoons the space, conceived by Noumeda Carbone. His Bell Epoque-inspired illustrations are softly illuminated by 18,000 LED lights"
