Oliver Cook

I have been creating drawings since I was a small child, and later discovered painting. My photography work started by accident - I was making photos simply as references for my drawings and paintings - but then fell in love with photography in it's own right. My work focuses on capturing beauty, whether that be of a girl, a flower, a landscape or a machine, but I do try to emphasise subtle aspects that most overly technical photographers seem to miss. I treat the camera as I would a paintbrush and try to maintain the flow of passion. I have lived and worked in London, Kent, Birmingham, Worcestershire and Arizona, and my work is in several notable private collections in London. I also create a trompe l'oeil and murals and have produced such art for clients in both Europe and the United States. I do hope you enjoy my art and please feel free to get in touch with any comments, questions or enquiries. Kind regards, Oliver Oliver Cook joined Society6 on July 2, 2012
