I’d never leave the house without paper or pen. Amazing species are waiting everywhere! Constantly feeling like an explorer in the wonderful world of animals, I see the city packed with crazy chickens, slow-walking bears or gluttonous cats. Thus, the granny goose in the supermarket trying to find some coins in her tiny purse while wearing her charming bobble hat, or the funny hamsterlady walking down the street while taking her unbelievably stupid-looking dog for a walk really make my day. Meeting an amusing hippolady carrying a ridiculously small bag on her back which actually looks like a wart, I unfailingly burst into laughter right in the middle of the tram. People think I’m crazy... and they’re completely right. This is my reality, and I never stop working. I draw in the club, in the supermarket, in the park, in the swimming pool and even in the sauna. Look at me as some kind of undercover agent trying to sneek around its victims, staying invisible. And drawing people turns out to be quite challenging as their natural behaviour can immediately change once they notice being watched... they might hide like nervous little deers or even attack me like wild rhinos. My sketches are the base for my character designs – so you’ll probably buy an I-pod case with your grandma on it :) It’s the pictures of my everyday life directly from the streets that inspire me, and I celebrate life as a big theatre. My daily soap happens in the bus or at the take away. Playgrounds are zoos and public places are playgrounds for me. So enjoy the world of Orble, the artwork of the Orblelord!!
