About Patricia Howitt

During the 15 years I worked in Government as a lawyer, my two passions were doing art and walking the high country of central New Zealand. They say perseverance is the key to getting where you want to go. Perhaps for me, it's more like I held to my truth through thick and thin.

Now I live in the beautiful, subtropical Far North of New Zealand, on a property adjacent to an untouched forest that has been part of my inspiration for years.

My artworks are in collections in New Zealand, USA, Australia, Canada and France. The Portfolio of Prints of Game Animals of NZ, published jointly with NZ Deerstalkers Association (edition of 500) has long since sold out.

I recently completed a major illustration series for a book published in 2012, called "Taketakerau, The Millennium Tree" - a book that has collected 5 awards since its publication. See all 36 of the artworks at" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">
