13-story Italian Renaissance building named after land developer and infamous Socialist, Henry Gaylord Wilshire. If you're familiar with the Los Angeles area, you should know that Wilshire Blvd is also named after this eccentric man. It was once part of the glamorous Westlake district, that is now referred to as Koreatown. In addition to being famous for housing many famous movie stars in the 1930's and 1940's, it's best known as being across from the Ambassador Hotel where Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1968.
