In October of 2012 I was searching methodologies about ‘how to assess the visual impact in the landscape by highways and other infrastructures'. I found different points of view in Europe, USA or Australia. In general, the problem is how to evaluate aesthetic criteria forgetting subjetive point of view. In november, I discovered the awesome work by Forest Department and Federal Highway Administration in USA. In 1976 and 1977, it held different workshops in California to build a methodology to assessment the visual impact by highways in the landscape. In these documents I saw wonderful landscape drawings in pre-computer period, using handmade techniques (ink, pencil, etc.)

I made different drawings to be included in my research documents, and then... I decided make a new series with this style. I have create 12 drawings. They are skylines views, with natural and artificial elements, joined each other.

They are artificial landscapes.
