ABOUT THE ART
This is a Bic ball point pen drawing of which I've simplified and then colored in. The original is 8.5 x 11 inches. I drew this back in 1977 – inspired by the Blue Ridge Parkway. The distant background is a photo of Coleman Pinnacle and Mt. Baker (native name is Koma Kulshan translating to "White Mother"). Since third grade, my dream was to move west into the area I now call home ... near Mt. Baker in the San Juan Islands. This composition is emblematic of a dream made true by hard work and determination a long time ago!
