ABOUT THE ART
But it's better to try and build real castles and keep rebuilding them every time they're knocked down. Because real castles are real.
I took this photo on my 'epic bike ride' near Monaco in the summer of 2011.
My ride took me through western Europe that summer. I covered 1,000 miles on a hybrid bicycle and came to feel that I was invincible, that anything was possible if I just kept riding. But, of course, the summer ended and I put my bike down and got stuck into a routine. So, after a year of routine I am reflecting upon this trip with nostalgia, and of course planning the next one. This Summer I am getting married, and next summer my wife-to-be and I are adorning our wandering shoes and hitting the road for a few years.
