This week I'm participating in a group project dedicated to the memory of my friend's daughter, Mackenzie. She was only a week old when she died unexpectedly one year ago this week. The project is especially meaningful to me because I too lost a child. My son, Max, was born prematurely and could not survive outside of the womb. While the loss is devastating, I think it is so important to remember to see the beauty in every day and to share the love and joy of life with others. It's what gets us through and allows us to live a connected, deep and meaningful life. Watercolor, digitally edited and repeated.
