ABOUT THE ART
I shot this on a hike in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on Alum Ridge Trail going up Mt LeConte.
The Alum Ridge Trail is closed Monday through Thursday for trail maintenance. This trail is in need of serious repairs. The maintenance is being done by Trails Forever which is a part of Friends of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
The trail crew has done a tremendous job on the trail thus far, but a lot of work is left to be done. If you would like to donate to Trails Forever you can here http://friendsofthesmokies.org/pro…/preserve-trails-forever/
Or you can choose from one of the other programs to donate to here http://friendsofthesmokies.org/donate/
Did you know that you can even volunteer to help for a day with trail maintenance? You can find more information here http://friendsofthesmokies.org/howtohelp/volunteering/
