Cold Forest Playgroundby Jeffrey J. Irwin
Our metal prints are thin, lightweight and durable 1/16" aluminum sheet canvas. The high gloss finish enhances color and produces sharp image details. Each sheet has a 3/4" wooden frame attached to the back to offset from the wall. Prints have a wire or sawtooth hanger, depending on size selected.
ABOUT THE ART
This is a combination of a lot of different images. Some I found, and some I took myself. The base image is of the coldest city on earth. Some of the buildings are from Wyoming, one is from Utah. The lamp posts are from Portland Oregon. The snow is from a capture within a video game. The bike is a vintage bicycle that I made into a paintbrush, then skewed and transformed the image to paint it onto an entirely new picture, remove the white around it, darken it via layer blending properties. Added in dots to the lamp posts to make them look like functional yet frozen over lamp post lamps. The ice near some of the buildings was created by content aware cutting, darkening, and wind effects. Pointilism/pallette knife effects were created through four different filters. The t-shirt design I made of a wold with a forest around it and a butte. The coloring I made to make it look colder and slightly more menacing. Shadows added in for effect.
