During my 6 month stay in Copenhagen earlier this year, I photographed close to 350 buildings and I wanted to get a sense of how the streets and these buildings looked together, ever since I came across the illustrations of Jacob Sneum, Michael Hauberg and Martin Schwartz’s versions of Copenhagen architecture, I wanted to spin it my style, by combining photographs and the architecture on a much larger scale as I wanted to get a sense of how different neighborhoods evolved, how they perceived color and how housing was planned. So I cleant all the images I took, corrected their perspectives and put together houses and structures which belong to the same neighborhood together – so you see some areas of the poster look colorful, some dull and dark, some over saturated etc.,. It took around a week to stitch together these 350 photographs and I want to do this with every city I’m going to live in, in the future!
