Metal Travel Mug
Diagon Alleyby Katarzyna Kmiecik
Talk about steely good looks. In addition to a 360-degree wraparound design, our metal travel mugs are crafted with lightweight stainless steel - so they're pretty much indestructible. Plus, they're double-walled to keep drinks hot (or cold), fit in almost any size cup holder and are easy to clean.
ABOUT THE ART
This illustration is my interpretation of the most amazing street of the imaginary world of Harry Potter's. It was drawn from imagination (inspired a little by the first HP movie) in mixed media, mostly markers.
It stays really true to Rowling's description.
The idea was to get people mesmerized by the intricate details and colors. My intention was to make them feel like they're in the scene, breathing the air (as much as I would love to be there myself).
Wizarding street looks very busy, with the cauldrons stacked messily in front of the shop. Bright colors add a great sense of whimsy and make it look more magical!
Transition between colored and black and white part makes it feel like like Harry and Hagrid are walking away from the shadows of the Nockturn Alley to the light magic of Diagon Alley.
