ABOUT THE ART
The Glory is an upscale neighborhood in the South Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Up to half of the twentieth century, the neighborhood was the birthplace of Rio aristocracy because of its proximity to the government headquarters. However, after the transfer of Brazilian capital to Brasilia in 1960, suffered deep abandonment and only after five decades of neglect, has received investments to revitalize the City Hall. It's located between the center neighborhoods, Santa Teresa, Catete, Lapa and Flamengo. It's the most valued historic district and well maintained city. It has a strategic location between the central and southern zones of the city, with a fast connection to the rest of the city through its subway station.
