We know, we know… whatever really happens in Haifa… But for some of us, we quite like it, even if it isn't Jerusalem or Tel Aviv. חיפאית, [khay-fa-eet] the Hebrew term for a Haifa resident (or a girl one anyway) is printed here poking fun at Haifa’s Carmelit logo.

This is a tribute to friends in Mercaz HaCarmel, in particular, my dear friend Yael, who shares an affectionate love for the Carmelit. No one gives Haifa enough credit, but for those who would call it home, this is for you. (ladies anyway)

Disclaimer: "חיפאית" is the female version of the word for a Haifa resident, so if you're a guy, you may get funny looks if you wear this.
