ABOUT THE ART
The Halifax Town Clock (sometimes called the Citadel Clock Tower) is one of the most recognizable and favourite places in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Perched on Citadel Hill, the clock is said to be the brainchild of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, who wished to prevent the tardiness of the soldiers in the garrison. It began keeping time in 1803 and is still ticking!
