I'm curious why Hippocampus? The only reason I know what that is is because I wrote a short story about a drug that affects the Hippocampus and makes one hallucinate their memories in full (time travel drug mumbo jumbo, crazy I know)
beware1984 commented on August 29, 2012 10:34pm
Ok just read the description so it makes sense, but the hippocampus is also the part of the brain responsible for memory *snapple facts!
Allison Kolarik commented on August 30, 2012 5:39am
haha, yeah you know I have no idea why science named that part of the brain after the greek word for scaly sea monsters. I'm sure there's an answer, but I'll be damned if I know it. I even just looked a a picture to see if the hippocampus in the brain even remotely resembles a seahorse...nope.

I love your pricing structure :-) and your art too.....
Allison Kolarik commented on December 26, 2012 6:43pm
Hahaha EVERYTHING IS A BILLION DOLLARS. No, I just price everything that way so when people want to buy something, they can email me and pay me directly through paypal, then I email them the printable vector file and they can size it themselves. Because a 10% commission is not nearly enough for any of us and we shouldn't swallow it.
Lazy Bones Studios commented on December 26, 2012 8:56pm
Oooh not just an artistic genius but a financial one too! Has that worked out well? Until you mentioned this I hadn't realized there was a way of contacting the artists. So I should get my but in gear and set up "About Page" ;-) I was just today admiring your banner hoe the Seahorse converts into a pistol. Yep your a genius for sure.
Allison Kolarik commented on December 27, 2012 2:43pm
Genius? Let's not get crazy here hahaha - you should contact Carina Povarchik on Facebook and join up with the Society6 Users page :) As far as contacting the artists outside of this page, SOciety6 makes it difficult, but I own my own illustration house called Comic Book Afterlife, so I broadcast my insanity from there :)
