ABOUT THE ART
All these works play off of analog TV aesthetics, which I realize now are literally fading away with time and plasmas. We're embedded with these sets of media created images through out absorption of them, through the medium of the TV. I seek to alter this meaning, as the media alters the meaning of these objects.
This work allows a viewer to question the aesthetic of war, as it points to its design and the malleability within it. Something media defines most of the time.
Digital print on watercolor paper. 2012.
