interesting when you imagine that the magnetic north is 'I' and the boat is 'you'. The magnetic noth is the reference, it is a point, and all we are moving with this reference. This drawing get the perfect balance with the concept and execution. Congrats I think it is a great work (as the last drawing).

Beautiful piece, Heather. I love the title and imagery. The boat looks like it is precariously headed toward the end of the world, but is anchored on the star. What a fantastic metaphor! A bit more realism for you?

Thanks so much, you guys are so nice! Óscar - I was hoping that north could change between the "you" or "I" depending on the viewer - I like the idea that we are all moving around it or towards it (or I guess away from it) as a reference. Jacqueline - what a poetic interpretation to be saved from falling off the edge of the earth by a star!

This is so poetic Heather... The dark tones of the sea and boat in contrast with the light-magnetic field is strong. It's a despair-hope situation...

This makes me think of my journey home - being rocked around on the sea and all the time thinking of how warm and lovely it'll be to see my family again - thank you!
